Requirements
The new style of creating and submitting edits requires the most up to date copy of Flashpoint. You can get a preview of this via the most recent installer https://github.com/FlashpointProject/FlashpointComponentTools/releases
You will also need to open the config menu in Flashpoint and toggle the Enable Editing option.
This page will get fleshed out as time passes and we're closer to stable.
Metadata Changes are limited to staff temporarily.
Content Patches are open to trial curators like regular submissions are.
Submitting an Edit
Edit Type | Directions |
---|---|
Metadata Change (No app path or launch command) | Submit via Edit Game (FPFSS) in Game context menu, or Edit in Flashpoint Launcher via the FPFSS site. |
New Additional Apps | If making changes to game content, submit as a Content Patch. Otherwise submit as a Metadata Change. |
Content Patch (new GameZIP) | Create via Make Curation From Game in Game context menu, add changes, export and submit to FPFSS. Leave comments regarding any metadata fields you have change, except for application path, launch command and add apps. Tags and Platforms must be done as Metadata changes |
Logo or Screenshot | Use the existing Discord channels. Make sure they're properly formatted as <gameId>.png |
